In Rehearsal...

• Lyrical Limericks, for treble choir, is in rehearsal with the Saint Mary's College Women's Choir, Nancy Menk, conductor.  They will perform the piece locally in November, then in June at the ACDA Symposium in Washington, D.C.

• Nature's Chopsticks, for flex instrumentation ensemble, will be be premiered in the spring of 2012 at Butler Univ.  School of Music when Zae is the guest composer there.

In the Works...

• Night of Blue Magic is the title of Zae's new chamber opera in-progress, a setting of 22 haiku by author Karen Hesse.

• Zae is collaborating with saxophonist Tim McAllister on a Parma CD of Zae's works for alto saxophone in eclectic chamber combinations.

* JOMAR Music will be publishing 3 works by Zae that include the saxophone: Cascade, Music: A Love Story, and The Old Songs
